One Life to Live

Today marks a sad day in television history as One Life to Live airs its final episode after over 40 years of being a part of network television. Saoirse is so thankful for the opportunity to play Jamie Vega, not only did she learn a lot from the acting perspective, but she got the chance to meet so many wonderful people from cast to crew. Today, she is going to be attending a One Life to Live viewing party with her co-stars, hosted by the fans, and celebrate Llanview. To honor One Life to Live, we have behind the scenes photos from 2008 and 2009 added to the gallery. Thank-you One Life to Live for the opportunities you have given Saoirse and every actor and crew member to set foot in the studio, and especially to the fans for all of your support!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hopefully everyone enjoys a wonderful holiday filled with lots of time spent with friends and family. Maybe you’ll get to sing some carols or enjoy a fun game with those you love! Tis the season for lots of joy and happiness! 2011 was such a fun year and best wishes to everyone for 2012!

Star-Kidz Q&A

Saoirse had the opportunity recently to participate in the annual Holiday Q&A event over at Star-Kidz Talking about One Life to Live, attending fan events and her recent bookings, Saoirse had a great time answering her questions!




1. How did you like working with Kamar?

I LOVED working with Kamar. He was always very sweet to me.


2. What was it like working with Bree?

Working with Bree was always great. She helped me a lot on set.


3. Is there anyone you wish you got the chance to work with more at OLTL?

I think it would have been fun to work with "Destiny" (Shenell Edmonds). Shenell is very sweet and I like her a lot.


4. How did you enjoy attending your first OLTL Luncheon?

OMG....I had so much fun ! It's great meeting fans of the show and seeing how much they enjoy the show. It's fun signing autographs too.


5. What was your favorite part of this year's Stars and Strikes event?

Well the bowling was fun and of course meeting fans but it was nice to see actors that I hadn't seen in a long time especially Bree and BethAnn. It is nice to be included in such a great charity event.


6. What was the shoot like for your Chevron commercial?

It was a very quick project to shoot. It will only be shown in Africa so I wont get to see it.


7. Do you have a favorite memory from shooting your Dell print job?

We shot the scenes in a very cool school in Manhattan. It was fun looking in the different classrooms.


8. If you can remake any kids movie and be the lead actor what movie would it be?

High School Musical .....I'd like to be Gabriella or Sharpay (being a meanie looks like fun )


9. Other than OLTL, what has been your favorite project to work on?

I had the most fun working on The Naked Brothers Band Movie. Everyone was really cool and a lot of fun to hang out with. I LOVED hanging with Allie ("Rosalina") and Grace("Little Grace") even though I was younger than them they let me hang out with them. The boys were all very sweet to me especially Nat & Alex.


10. What is your favorite OLTL memory?

I loved shooting Rex and Adriana's wedding. It was a really, really LONG day but Ms. Robin Strasser ("Dorian") bought the cast and crew the best cup cakes and brownies I had ever tasted. My Mom was worried I was going to ruin my dress !!


I had a lot of fun working on OLTL and hopefully I can use the things I learned there in the future as I hope I can continue to work as an actor.

Daytime Stars and Strikes

Last month Saoirse had the fantastic opportunity to attend the Daytime Stars and Strikes event in New York City! A wonderful afternoon with the fans of One Life to Live, her co-stars and supporting a great cause! Saoirse loved getting to spend time with Stephanie Schmahl who plays Bree Brennan on the show, and getting to see actors such as Bree Williamson and BethAnn Bonner whom she hadn't seen in awhile! Thank-you to everyone who came out, Saoirse loved getting to meet you!
